The intro to Infinite Blue was to be kept as just that, but it filled itself into a piece in its own right in the end.
These pieces capture the feeling of floating in deep, tropical ocean water... a weightless, referenceless cobalt that is the playground of pods of dolphins, humpback whales, and occasional adventurous piano players. Our dear friend and proprietor of Yewfield, Derek adds “bubbles” to the soundscape using a log drum and crotales (dolphin bubbles popping on the surface?)
